Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
• Assess students' progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans.
• Foster a love for literature and develop students' critical thinking and reading skills.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behaviour.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders regarding student progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
• Teaching certification or qualification in English education.
• Proven experience teaching English to students in primary or secondary education.
• Strong knowledge of the English language, literature, and grammar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Passion for education and a desire to inspire and motivate students.
• Familiarity with current teaching methodologies and resources.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum for English (England).
• Commitment to continued professional development and growth.
