Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum and standards.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, including differentiated instruction and assessments.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student learning and collaboration.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching practices and curriculum.
• Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, assessments, and other relevant data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Education, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience teaching Geography in a primary or secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks for Geography.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• High levels of organization, professionalism, and flexibility.
