Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging Geography lessons that align with the national curriculum
• Assess and evaluate student progress to ensure effective learning outcomes
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports students' academic and social development
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular activities
• Provide individualized support to students with additional learning needs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance
• Actively participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching Geography to primary/secondary school students
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to create a positive learning atmosphere and manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
