Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students of varying abilities.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and personal growth.
• Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback and guidance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any areas of concern.
• Participate in departmental meetings and school-wide events.

Requirements

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) with a relevant degree in Geography or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Geography at the primary/secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Effective classroom management skills.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
