We are working on an amazing role located in the lovely residential area of West Kensington, London, we are seeking a nurturing and supportive Teacher to work with a Year 12 student with special educational needs (SEN) at a KS1 level. This role offers full-time hours during term time, providing crucial support to a child with Autism and Epilepsy.

About the Role:

As a Private Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of a Year 12 student with SEN, who is learning at a KS1 level. The student requires dedicated support due to their Autism and Epilepsy, and your role will involve providing one-on-one assistance to facilitate their learning and ensure their well-being.

Location: The role is based in a lovely residential area in West Kensington, London, providing a peaceful and supportive environment for both the student and the Teacher

Role Details:

• Full-time position
• Hours: 6 hours per day, term time only
• Working hours: 12 pm - 6 pm
• Providing one-on-one support to a Year 12 student with SEN
• Assisting with academic activities, sensory integration, and behavioral support
• Collaborating with the student's educational team to create personalized learning plans
• Create and implement engaging learning activities to promote the student's progress and achievement.
• Support the student's social and emotional well-being, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the student's family and other professionals involved in their care and education to ensure holistic support.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Teacher
• Understanding of Autism and experience supporting individuals with special educational needs
• Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine passion for working with children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
