History Teacher - Outstanding Waltham Forest Secondary School

We are a leading recruitment consultancy, and on behalf of an outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in Waltham Forest, we are seeking a talented and dedicated History Teacher to join their team from September 2024 (full-time, permanent).

The Role:

In this exciting role, you will:

• Play a pivotal role in the History department, delivering engaging and stimulating lessons across a range of key stages.
• Contribute to the development of a dynamic and innovative curriculum, fostering a love of history in your students.
• Employ a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the department and across the wider school community.
• Participate in the school's ongoing professional development program.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified History Teacher (QTS) with a demonstrably strong subject knowledge.
• Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire a passion for history.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students of all ages and backgrounds.
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• A collaborative and enthusiastic approach to working with colleagues.
