Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Economics lessons according to the school's curriculum
• Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
• Establish clear classroom rules and expectations, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding students' academic progress and behaviour

Requirements

• Qualified teacher status and a relevant degree in Economics or a related field
• Experience teaching Economics to primary/secondary students
• Excellent knowledge of the curriculum and pedagogical approaches in Economics
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
• Organizational skills to plan and manage time effectively
• Commitment to continuous professional development
