Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons to primary/secondary students.
• Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal development.
• Effectively manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a safe and disciplined learning environment.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies, ensuring all students can access the curriculum.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver cross-curricular projects and activities.
• Maintain accurate records of students' progress and attendance, compiling reports as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Maths or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Previous experience teaching Maths to primary/secondary students.
• Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students, fostering a love for Mathematics.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up to date with educational practices and policies.
