Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students in primary/secondary education.
  • Develop lesson plans and instructional materials in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cohesive educational programs.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date with current educational trends and techniques to enhance teaching methods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Previous experience teaching English in a primary or secondary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment.
