Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective science lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student growth and development
• Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to the individual needs of students
• Assess and provide constructive feedback to students on their academic progress
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to develop curriculum and educational programs
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress
• Communicate regularly with parents about student's academic performance and conduct parent-teacher conferences when necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Proven experience as a Science Teacher, preferably in an independent school setting
• Excellent knowledge of scientific concepts and ability to effectively communicate and explain complex ideas to students of varying abilities
• Strong understanding of modern teaching methods and tools
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
