We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Geography teacher to join a wonderful independent school in Haringey. This position is available starting in September and offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive educational environment.

As a Geography teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons to students, fostering a passion for the subject and encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the geography curriculum and will be able to create and implement effective lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the individual needs and abilities of students.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and motivated.

• Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field.
• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Geography to primary/secondary students.
• Strong knowledge of the geography curriculum and current educational trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with best teaching practices.
