About the Role:

• Teach Economics across a range of key stages (please specify which on your website)
• Develop engaging and stimulating lesson plans that cover core economic principles and current events
• Motivate and inspire students to develop critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Encourage students to engage with economic issues on a personal and global level
• Contribute to the wider department and school community, potentially including extracurricular activities like economics clubs or debates

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified Economics Teacher (PGCE, QTS or equivalent) with experience in a secondary school setting
• Proven track record of effectively teaching Economics at a secondary level
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• A passion for economics and a desire to share your knowledge and enthusiasm with students
• The ability to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that fosters intellectual curiosity and faith-based values
