Driven Year 5 Teacher needed - Superb School - 1 Year contract
Role: Year 5/Year 6 Teacher
Full-time, One year fixed term
This thriving school is looking for an experienced Upper KS2 Teacher for a Year 5/Year 6 position they have available.
Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. A postgraduate teaching qualification such as a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) is often preferred.
- Certification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK is essential.
- Experience: Previous teaching experience, particularly in Key Stage 2 (KS2), is highly desirable. Experience with Year 5 and Year 6 students is a plus.
Skills:
- Subject Knowledge: Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, including core subjects like Mathematics, English, and Science.
- Classroom Management: Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively, create a positive learning environment, and address the diverse needs of students.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Technology Proficiency: Competence in using educational technology and digital resources to enhance learning.
- Assessment: Skilled in assessing students’ progress and providing constructive feedback.

- Parental Engagement: Communicate effectively with parents about their child’s progress and participate in parent-teacher meetings.
- Professional Development: Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
