About the Role:

• Delivering engaging and curriculum-aligned Food Technology lessons to students across all year groups.
• Fostering a stimulating learning environment that promotes creativity, safety, and a genuine interest in food science and preparation.
• Collaborating with colleagues in the Design & Technology department to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
• Contributing to the ongoing development of the Food Technology curriculum, ensuring it meets national standards and reflects the needs of our students.
• Maintaining a safe and well-equipped teaching environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Food Technology or a closely related subject.
• Possesses a minimum of two years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrates a strong track record of delivering engaging and effective Food Technology lessons.
• Has a passion for food and the ability to inspire students from all backgrounds.
• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Is a team player with a commitment to continuous professional development.
