We're partnering with a prestigious all-girls' school in Ealing seeking a dedicated music teacher to join their growing department and ignite a passion for music in students across KS3 and KS4.
About the Role:
- Develop and deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned music lessons for students in Years 7-11 (specifics to be confirmed).
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, ensemble playing, and musical exploration.
- Play a key role in developing and maintaining the music curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the latest educational standards and caters to a range of musical interests.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues in the arts department to provide a holistic learning experience for students.
You'll be a great fit if you:
- Possess a relevant teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE) and demonstrable experience in teaching music at KS3 and KS4.
- Are passionate about music education and have a talent for making music accessible and enjoyable for all students, regardless of their prior experience.
- Have a strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Music (KS3 & KS4).
- Enjoy incorporating a variety of teaching methods, including performance, composition, music theory, and aural skills development.
- Are an excellent communicator with a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring young minds and nurturing their musical talents.
