We are currently seeking a dynamic and accomplished Drama Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in the vibrant borough of Hackney, starting September 2024. This full-time, permanent position offers an exceptional opportunity to make a significant contribution to a thriving Drama department and inspire students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and innovative Drama lessons to KS3/4/5 students
  • Design and implement stimulating lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum and school's objectives
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to foster growth
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance the overall effectiveness of the Drama department
  • Remain up-to-date with the latest pedagogical approaches and curriculum developments

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Drama or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Drama across KS3/4/5
  • Strong passion for Drama and a commitment to fostering creativity in students
