About the Role:

As a Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that cater to a diverse group of students. You will play a key role in helping each child achieve their full potential, both academically and personally. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering the Key Stage 2 curriculum with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and science.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student well-being and learning.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and the wider community to enhance the educational experience.
• Participating in extracurricular activities and school events to foster a sense of community and enrichment.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Previous experience teaching at the primary level, preferably in Year 5.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
