We are partnering with a highly regarded secondary school in Hounslow to discover a talented and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join their vibrant Design and Technology department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual, with a full-time or part-time permanent position available, starting this September.

In This Role, You Will:

• Develop and deliver stimulating and informative Food Technology lessons, catering to Key Stage 3 and GCSE curriculums.
• Ignite a passion for healthy eating, culinary skills, and food science within your students.
• Create and implement innovative lesson plans that adhere to national standards and departmental objectives.
• Foster a safe and productive learning environment by maintaining a well-equipped kitchen and demonstrating safe food handling practices.

We Are Seeking a Candidate Who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design and Technology with a specialization in Food Technology.
• Demonstrates a deep understanding of current curriculum trends and assessment practices specific to Food Technology.
• Exhibits exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Holds a genuine passion for creating a dynamic learning space that cultivates student curiosity and culinary exploration.
• Thrives in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
