We are partnering with a highly regarded secondary school in Hillingdon to find a talented and dedicated History Teacher to join their thriving department. This exciting opportunity offers a full-time or part-time permanent position, commencing this September.

The Role:

• Develop and deliver engaging and informative History lessons aligned with the National Curriculum across Key Stage 3 and potentially GCSE.
• Foster a love of historical inquiry, critical thinking, and analytical skills in your students.
• Create and implement innovative lesson plans that utilize diverse resources and cater to a range of learning styles.
• Foster a stimulating learning environment that sparks student curiosity and encourages exploration of the past.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the History department to ensure continued success and development of the curriculum.
• (Optional, but desirable) Play a role in mentoring colleagues or participate in professional development opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in History.
• Holds a minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience, ideally within a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of current History curriculum trends and assessment practices.
• Exhibits exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Maintains a genuine enthusiasm for creating a dynamic learning space that fosters historical exploration and critical thinking.
• Thrives in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
