About the Role:

• You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality D&T lessons across all year groups (Years 7-11).
• Develop and implement a stimulating curriculum that fosters creativity, problem-solving skills, and practical abilities.
• Integrate the latest technologies and industry practices into your lessons, ensuring a relevant and enriching learning experience.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the D&T department, including curriculum planning and resources development.
• Build strong relationships with students, promoting their intellectual curiosity and encouraging a passion for D&T.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in D&T or a relevant subject area.
• A minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
• Excellent subject knowledge with a strong understanding of D&T principles, concepts, and practical skills.
• A passion for inspiring young minds and fostering a love for learning.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• The ability to effectively plan engaging and differentiated lessons to cater to a range of learning styles.
• A commitment to upholding the Catholic ethos of the school.
