The Role:

• You will be responsible for delivering engaging and stimulating Science lessons across a range of abilities, from Years 7 to 11.
• A focus on Biology, Chemistry, or Physics is preferred, however a willingness to teach across all areas of Science is desirable.
• You will play a key role in curriculum development, ensuring it aligns with national standards and ignites a passion for scientific exploration.
• You will effectively assess student progress, providing targeted feedback and support to enable them to reach their full potential.
• You will contribute to the wider school community, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

The Person:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong Science specialism
• A minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience, preferably within a Catholic school setting
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for engaging students in scientific discovery
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
• The ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
• A commitment to fostering the spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development of young people
