The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering engaging and stimulating Economics lessons across the curriculum, from GCSE to A-Level.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters a deep understanding of economic principles.
- Employing a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Setting challenging but achievable targets and monitoring student progress.
- Contributing to the development of the Economics curriculum.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues within the department and across the wider college.
The Candidate
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified teacher with:
- A degree in Economics or a closely related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A minimum of two years' experience teaching Economics at a secondary school level.
- A strong understanding of current economic issues and trends.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and planning skills.
- The ability to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
