The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering engaging and stimulating Economics lessons across the curriculum, from GCSE to A-Level.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters a deep understanding of economic principles.
• Employing a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
• Setting challenging but achievable targets and monitoring student progress.
• Contributing to the development of the Economics curriculum.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the department and across the wider college.

The Candidate

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified teacher with:

• A degree in Economics or a closely related subject.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A minimum of two years' experience teaching Economics at a secondary school level.
• A strong understanding of current economic issues and trends.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and planning skills.
• The ability to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
