About the Role:

• You will deliver a stimulating and engaging D&T curriculum across Key Stages 3 & 4, fostering a love of design and innovation in all students.
• You will be responsible for the planning, preparation, and delivery of high-quality lessons, ensuring excellent progress and attainment for all students.
• You will have a strong understanding of D&T principles, with the ability to effectively teach across a broad range of materials and techniques.
• A passion for project-based learning and a commitment to incorporating cutting-edge technologies into the curriculum are highly desirable.
• You will contribute to the development of the D&T department, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design & Technology.
• A minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience at secondary level.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a proven track record of raising standards in D&T.
• The ability to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that motivates and inspires students.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and pastoral skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
