Art Teacher Required for Esteemed Secondary School in Islington

Position Summary:

We are delighted to partner with a distinguished secondary school in Islington seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join their faculty for a full-time, permanent position commencing in September.

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.
• Plan and implement a differentiated curriculum aligned with the National Curriculum and school's educational philosophy.
• Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that encourages artistic expression and creativity.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual development.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Art department and wider school community.
• Participate in departmental and whole-school activities, including exhibitions and showcases.

Candidate Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Art or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Art to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Passion for Art education and a commitment to fostering artistic talent in young people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
