Art Teacher - Permanent Position - Islington Secondary School

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a well-respected secondary school in Islington, starting in September. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary in line with the MPS/UPS scale.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a degree in Art or a related field
• Possesses a PGCE or QTS qualification
• Demonstrates a proven track record of successful teaching experience at the secondary level
• Is passionate about fostering creativity and artistic expression in students
• Is a collaborative team player with strong communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging and inspiring Art lessons to students across KS3 and KS4
• Designing and implementing a diverse and challenging curriculum that meets the needs of all learners
• Assessing and providing constructive feedback on student progress
• Contributing to the overall development and success of the Art department
• Staying up-to-date with the latest pedagogical approaches and curriculum developments
