About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and stimulating Maths lessons across the curriculum, from Year 7 to A Level.
• Possess a strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Maths and relevant examination specifications.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Employ a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Maths curriculum and departmental resources.
• Play an active role in the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and pastoral care.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Maths or a relevant subject.
• Possesses a minimum of 3 years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrates a proven track record of achieving excellent student outcomes.
• Has a passion for Maths and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and engaging lessons.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is essential.
