About the Role:

• Delivering engaging and stimulating music lessons across all Key Stages, tailored to a range of abilities and interests.
• Leading and developing the school's music curriculum, ensuring it aligns with national guidelines and promotes a love of lifelong learning.
• Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level music qualifications (examination board to be specified).
• Contributing to the school's vibrant extra-curricular music programme, including choirs, ensembles and musical productions.
• Building strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified music teacher (PGCE or equivalent) with a strong track record of success.
• Excellent subject knowledge across a variety of musical genres and instruments.
• A passion for inspiring a love of music in young people and fostering their musical talents.
• Proven ability to develop engaging and differentiated lessons to cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
• A commitment to promoting the Catholic ethos of the school.
