About the Role:
- You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating engaging music lessons across all year groups (KS3, KS4, and KS5).
- You will create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that fosters a love of music and encourages students to develop their musical skills.
- You will have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Music and a proven track record of achieving excellent results.
- You will be able to effectively differentiate lessons to cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
- You will contribute to the school's wider enrichment programme, such as school concerts and musical productions.
- You will be a team player, working collaboratively with colleagues across the department and the wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music is essential.
- A minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting is desirable.
- A demonstrable passion for music education and a commitment to fostering a love of music in students.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
- The ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
