About the Role:

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging music lessons to students across a range of year groups, likely on a pre-determined schedule. This includes:

• Planning and delivering a stimulating curriculum aligned with the National Curriculum for Music.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that ignites a passion for music.
• Encouraging students to develop their musical skills through practical activities and performance opportunities.
• Contributing to the ongoing development of the school's music program, potentially including after-school activities or school ensembles (depending on the specific role).

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music is essential.
• Experience teaching music in a secondary school setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students of all ages and backgrounds.
• The ability to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that fosters a love of music.
• A passion for music and the desire to inspire a love of the subject in others.
• Experience in working within a Catholic school environment is a plus.
