About the Role:

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging music lessons to students across a range of year groups, likely on a pre-determined timetable. This includes:

• Planning and delivering a stimulating curriculum aligned with the National Curriculum for Music.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of music in all students.
• Contributing to the development of the school's music program, potentially including individual or group instrumental/vocal tuition.
• Collaborating with the wider music department to ensure a cohesive learning experience for students.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music is essential.
• A strong track record of delivering high-quality music education, potentially with experience in a part-time teaching role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students of all ages and backgrounds.
• The ability to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment, even within a part-time schedule.
• A passion for music and the desire to inspire a love of music in others.
• Experience in working within a Catholic school environment is desirable.
