Here's what you'll do:

• Provide strategic leadership for the Maths department, aligning it with the school's vision for academic excellence.
• Oversee the Maths curriculum across all year groups (potentially including Pre-Prep, Prep, Seniors, and Sixth Form).
• Lead a team of dedicated Maths teachers, providing coaching, mentoring, and professional development.
• Foster a stimulating learning environment that promotes critical thinking and a passion for Maths.
• Contribute significantly to curriculum development, ensuring it aligns with national standards and best practices.
• Play a key role in recruiting, selecting, and managing Maths teachers.

Who you are:

• A qualified teacher with QTS and a strong specialism in Mathematics (Leadership experience preferred).
• Minimum 5 years' successful teaching experience (secondary or independent school) with demonstrably strong leadership qualities.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a proven track record of raising standards in Maths.
• Strong strategic vision and the ability to translate it into a successful departmental plan.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
