We're seeking a talented and dedicated Physics teacher to join our dynamic team at a successful co-educational secondary school in Hounslow. This is an exciting one-year fixed-term contract opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a real difference in the lives of students, fostering a love of learning and a deep understanding of the physical world.
What You'll Do:
- Craft and deliver captivating Physics lessons for students across various age groups (potentially KS3, KS4 and/or KS5).
- Cultivate a stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and a passion for discovery.
- Play a vital role in curriculum development, ensuring it aligns with national standards and ignites student interest in Physics.
- Guide and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential.
- Contribute to the pastoral care and wellbeing of your students, fostering a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department to share best practices and continuously improve the science curriculum.
Who You Are:
- A qualified teacher with QTS and a specialism in Physics.
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in a secondary school setting (more experience a plus).
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of Physics principles and a passion for science that sparks curiosity in students.
- Adept at creating engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
- A strong believer in fostering a love of science and encouraging students to explore the physical world.
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
