A dynamic all-through academy in Ealing, West London, seeks a highly motivated and qualified English Teacher to join its dedicated team for a one-year, full-time position commencing in September 2024.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and stimulating English lessons across the curriculum, fostering a love of the English language and equipping students with essential literacy and communication skills.
• Develop and implement a rigorous English curriculum aligned with National Curriculum standards, catering to diverse year groups and learning styles.
• Utilize innovative teaching methods and resources to promote critical thinking and ensure all students reach their full potential.
• Actively participate in the development of the English department, contributing to curriculum planning, resource creation, and collaborative departmental initiatives.
• Contribute to the overall academic progress and well-being of students through effective pastoral care and guidance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English is essential.
• A proven track record of delivering effective and engaging English lessons to secondary school students.

• A passion for the English language and a demonstrable ability to inspire students as confident readers, writers, and communicators.
• Experience in utilizing data to inform teaching and track student progress is highly desirable.
