Make a Difference:

• Ignite a love for food and cooking in students through engaging and stimulating Food Technology lessons across the curriculum.
• Develop and implement a rigorous Food Technology curriculum aligned with National Curriculum standards, promoting healthy eating habits, and fostering creativity in the kitchen.
• Utilize innovative teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Food Technology department, contributing to curriculum planning, resource creation, and departmental initiatives.
• Contribute to the overall academic progress and well-being of students through effective pastoral care and guidance.
• Build strong and positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

We're looking for you if:

• You hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Food Technology or a related field.
• You have a demonstrably successful track record of delivering engaging and effective Food Technology lessons to secondary school students.
• You possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• You have a genuine passion for food and a commitment to inspiring confident and creative cooks.
• Prior experience in a school kitchen environment is desirable.
• You are steadfastly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
