Inspire the Next Generation of Foodies:

• Develop and deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons across the curriculum, fostering a love for cooking, healthy eating, and food science.
• Create and implement a rigorous Food Technology curriculum aligned with National Curriculum standards, equipping students with essential culinary skills.
• Utilize a variety of innovative teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential.
• Be a key player in the Food Technology department's development, collaborating with colleagues on curriculum planning, resource creation, and departmental initiatives.
• Contribute to the overall academic progress and well-being of students through effective pastoral care and guidance.
• Build strong and positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Food Technology or a related subject.
• Has a successful track record of delivering engaging and effective Food Technology lessons to secondary school students.
• Boasts excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Holds a genuine passion for food, cooking, and healthy eating, with a commitment to inspiring confident and creative culinary minds.
• Prior experience in a practical kitchen setting and utilizing relevant technology in the classroom is desirable.
• Demonstrates a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
