We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic LSA to join our supportive SEND team within a thriving secondary school in Hounslow. This is an exciting chance to play a key role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), fostering their confidence and helping them achieve their full potential.

About the Role:

• Working collaboratively with teachers to provide targeted support to individual or small groups of students with SEND.
• Delivering a range of tailored learning interventions to meet the specific needs of each student.
• Assisting teachers with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters independence and self-esteem in students with SEND.
• Liaising with parents/carers and other professionals involved in the students' education.
• Contributing to the wider school community and participating in departmental and whole-school events.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified LSA or someone with demonstrable experience working effectively with students with SEND.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• A strong understanding of SEND and a commitment to inclusive education practices.
• Patience, empathy and the ability to build positive relationships with students of all abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
