Business and Economics Teacher Sought for Esteemed Academy in Merton

On behalf of our client, a leading academy within a highly regarded multi-academy trust in Merton, we are seeking a dynamic and accomplished Business and Economics Teacher to join their outstanding faculty. This full-time, permanent position commences in September and offers an exceptional opportunity for an individual who possesses a strong commitment to delivering a rigorous and engaging curriculum to Key Stages 4 and 5 students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering inspiring and comprehensive instruction in Business and Economics to GCSE and A-Level students.
• Designing and implementing innovative lesson plans that align with the academy's curriculum objectives and assessment frameworks.
• Assessing student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their academic development.
• Collaborating with colleagues to enrich the Business and Economics department's offerings and extracurricular activities.
• Staying abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in Business and Economics education.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Business and Economics at the secondary level, ideally with a track record of success in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
• A strong understanding of economic principles, business practices, and financial literacy.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology to enhance teaching and learning.
