Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic English lessons to students of varying abilities.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the national curriculum standards.
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience in teaching English, preferably within a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
