About the Role:

• Leading and managing the strategic direction and development of KS5, ensuring it delivers an outstanding educational experience for all students.
• Overseeing the curriculum, assessment, and teaching and learning strategies across KS5, ensuring they are aligned with the school's vision and national requirements.
• Providing strong and effective leadership to a team of subject leaders and teachers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Monitoring the progress and performance of students in KS5, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to raise standards.
• Building strong relationships with parents/carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and the opportunities available in KS5.
• Contributing to the wider school leadership team, shaping the overall vision and direction of the school.
• Representing the school at external events and meetings.

• A qualified and experienced leader with a proven track record of success in leading and improving KS5 provision.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire and develop a team of staff.
• A strong strategic vision for KS5 education, with a focus on raising standards and ensuring all students achieve their full potential.
• In-depth knowledge of the curriculum and assessment frameworks for KS5.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, parents/carers and external stakeholders.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
