Year 4 Teacher & PPA Cover Teacher Required | Haringey | September Start

Are you passionate about shaping young minds and making a difference in education? We have an exciting opportunity at a dynamic school located in Haringey for September. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join the team as a Year 4 Teacher in the mornings and a Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) Cover Teacher in the afternoons, on a fixed-term basis for one year, starting in September.

The Role

As the Year 4 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education to our students, fostering their academic progress and personal development. Your mornings will be dedicated to teaching the Year 4 curriculum, engaging students in meaningful learning experiences, and preparing them for future academic challenges.

In the afternoons, as the PPA Cover Teacher, you will support the school by covering planning, preparation, and assessment time across EYFS to Year 4 classes. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the broader educational goals of our school while gaining valuable experience across multiple year groups.

Year 4 Teacher & PPA Cover Teacher Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Year 4 students, ensuring curriculum objectives are met.
  • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment and contribute to the school’s community ethos.
  • Cover PPA time for teachers across EYFS to Year 4, maintaining continuity of learning and supporting colleagues as needed.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in extracurricular activities and school events.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
