About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Spanish teacher to join our dynamic department within a thriving secondary school in Ealing. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in igniting a passion for languages and Spanish culture in students, fostering their communication skills, and preparing them for future success.

Curriculum Delivery:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and stimulating Spanish lessons across the curriculum, catering to Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11) in line with the National Curriculum.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students can develop their Spanish language skills effectively (speaking, listening, reading, writing).
- Integrate cultural elements into your lessons, fostering a deeper understanding of Spanish-speaking countries and their traditions.

Curriculum Development:
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Spanish curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the school's vision, national requirements, and the latest advancements in language teaching.
- Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in Spanish pedagogy, implementing innovative approaches to enhance student learning (e.g., technology integration, project-based learning).

Building Relationships:
- Build strong and positive relationships with students, fostering their confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Spanish.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to enable students to reach their full potential (individualized learning plans, targeted intervention strategies).
- Cultivate a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages participation and a love for learning languages.

Extracurricular Activities:
- Contribute to and potentially lead extracurricular activities related to Spanish language and culture (e.g., Spanish film clubs, conversation groups, exchange programs).
