About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the continued success of our Business & Economics curriculum. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and stimulating lessons across the A-Level program, fostering a love of learning and equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in the business world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery:
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and challenging Business & Economics lessons across the A-Level curriculum.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential.
  • Integrate current business and economic issues into your lessons, fostering critical thinking and real-world application of knowledge.
  • Effectively prepare students for A-Level examinations.
• Student Progress:
  • Track and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to ensure students achieve their academic goals.
  • Utilize a variety of assessment strategies to inform teaching and learning.
• Enrichment Activities:
  • Contribute to and potentially lead enrichment activities related to Business & Economics (e.g., guest lectures, industry visits, business competitions).
  • Foster a love of learning and encourage students to explore their interests beyond the curriculum.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified Business & Economics Teacher with a minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience at A-Level.
• A strong passion for Business & Economics and a demonstrable track record of raising student achievement.
• Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to keep up-to-date with current trends and developments in the business world.
• Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
• A commitment to high standards and creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
