About the Role:
- Provide strong and visible leadership for Year 10, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
- Develop and implement a clear vision and strategy for Year 10, aligned with the school's overall goals.
- Oversee the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment in Year 10.
- Foster a strong team spirit amongst Year 10 tutors and staff.
- Monitor and track student progress, identifying and supporting those who need extra help.
- Work closely with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and partnership.
- Contribute to the wider leadership team of the school.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified teacher with a minimum of 5 years' successful teaching experience, including significant leadership experience within a secondary school setting.
- A proven track record of raising standards and improving student outcomes.
- Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues.
- Strong pastoral care skills and a genuine commitment to student well-being.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- The ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
