About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Food Technology department in a school committed to excellence. You will be responsible for igniting a passion for food and cooking in students, equipping them with valuable life skills for the future.
Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and stimulating Food Technology lessons across the curriculum, catering to Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11) in line with the National Curriculum.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students develop their culinary skills effectively (hygiene, food preparation techniques, recipe interpretation, healthy eating principles).
- Foster creativity and experimentation in the kitchen, encouraging students to explore different cuisines and ingredients.

Student Progress:
- Track and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to ensure students achieve their full potential.
- Utilize a variety of assessment strategies to inform teaching and learning.

Learning Environment:
- Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Ensure the kitchen is well-equipped and organized for effective learning.

- Contribute to and potentially lead extracurricular activities related to food (e.g., cooking clubs, healthy eating workshops, catering events).
