About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of historians within a supportive and collaborative department. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and stimulating History lessons across the curriculum, catering to Key Stage 3/4/5
Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and stimulating History lessons, fostering a love of the subject and historical understanding.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential.
- Integrate innovative teaching strategies and resources to enhance student engagement.
- Effectively prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations

Student Progress:
- Track and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to ensure students achieve their academic goals.
- Utilize a variety of assessment strategies to inform teaching and learning.

Enrichment Activities:
- Contribute to and potentially lead enrichment activities related to History (e.g., history clubs, guest lectures, educational trips).
- Foster a love of learning and encourage students to explore their historical interests beyond the curriculum.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified History Teacher with a minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience (ECT's Welcome).
- A strong passion for History and a demonstrable track record of raising student achievement.
- Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to keep up-to-date with current historical developments and teaching methods.
- Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
- A commitment to high standards and creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
