About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Female PE Teacher to play a key role in inspiring a love of physical activity among young women within a supportive and collaborative department. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality PE lessons across the curriculum for Years 7 to 11, with a particular focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for female students.
Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and stimulating PE lessons, aligned with the National Curriculum and tailored to the specific needs and abilities of female students in Years 7 to 11.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students enjoy physical activity and reach their full potential.
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a sense of fair play within PE lessons.
- Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum, ensuring it reflects current best practices and promotes healthy lifestyles.
- Effectively prepare students for GCSE Physical Education (if applicable).

Extracurricular Activities:
- Lead, organize, and coach a variety of extracurricular sports clubs and activities specific to girls' interests, promoting participation and fostering a love of sport.
- Contribute to school sporting events and competitions, ensuring fair and inclusive participation for female students.

- Build positive and supportive relationships with female students, promoting their well-being and encouraging a healthy approach to physical activity.
- Contribute to the wider pastoral care system within the school.

The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified Female PE Teacher with a minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
- A demonstrable passion for PE and a strong track record of engaging and motivating female students in physical activity.
- Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and effective PE lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Strong commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and well-being among students.
