About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of physically literate young women. You will join a supportive and collaborative team of PE teachers, delivering engaging and challenging PE lessons across the curriculum for girls in Years 7-11.
Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and stimulating PE lessons, fostering a love of physical activity and promoting the importance of healthy lifestyles for girls in Years 7-11.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students reach their full potential.
- Implement the national curriculum for PE, adapting it to meet the specific needs of the school and student body.
- Effectively prepare students for GCSE PE examinations.

Skill Development & Progression:
- Design and deliver PE lessons that progressively develop students' physical skills, knowledge, and understanding across a wide range of sports and activities.
- Utilize technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and learning.

Extracurricular Activities:
- Play a key role in the school's extracurricular PE program, potentially leading and coaching teams for various sports.
- Organize and participate in school sports events, competitions, and healthy living initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified Female PE Teacher with a minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
- A demonstrable track record of raising standards in PE and a proven passion for inspiring young women to participate in physical activity.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to delivering high-quality PE lessons that are engaging, inclusive, and meet the needs of all learners.
- Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
