About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and stimulating Business lessons across the curriculum, catering to all Key Stages (Years 7-11).
- Develop students' knowledge and understanding of core business concepts, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential.
- Effectively prepare students for GCSE examinations.
- Contribute to the development of the Business curriculum, ensuring alignment with the National Curriculum and departmental goals.
- Play a role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that reflects the school's Catholic ethos.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Business Teacher with a minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience ( ECTs welcome).
- A strong passion for Business and a demonstrable track record of raising student achievement.
- Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to keep up-to-date with current business trends.
- Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
- A commitment to high standards and creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- A willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the school (desirable but not mandatory).
