About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of athletes and encourage a love of physical activity in all students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and stimulating PE lessons across the curriculum, catering to all Key Stages (Years 7-11).
Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and stimulating PE lessons, fostering a love of physical activity and developing students' physical literacy.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential in PE.
- Develop students' teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship skills through physical activities.
- Prepare students for any relevant practical assessments within the PE curriculum.

Extracurricular Activities:
- Play a key role in organizing and coaching extracurricular sports teams and activities.
- Motivate and support students to participate in competitive sports at different levels.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages all students to enjoy physical activity.

Safe Learning Environment:
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment during all PE lessons and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain and promote good health and safety practices within the PE department.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified PE Teacher with a minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience.
- A strong passion for physical education and a demonstrable track record of raising student participation and achievement.
- Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to keep up-to-date with current developments in PE pedagogy.
- Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to deliver engaging and practical PE lessons.
- A commitment to high standards and creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
