Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and stimulating Food Technology lessons across the curriculum
• Effectively implement the established curriculum plans, ensuring a smooth learning experience for students during the temporary placement.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students can develop their culinary skills.
• Foster a safe and hygienic learning environment in the kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the department.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Food Technology Teacher with a minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience (supply experience may be considered).
• Strong passion for food and cooking, with a demonstrable ability to engage and motivate students.
• Excellent subject knowledge and practical skills in food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create a safe and positive learning environment.
• Adaptable and flexible approach to teaching, readily integrating into the existing curriculum plans.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
